Roommates, if you were already putting Karrueche Tran and Quavo on your list of new celebrity couples…you need to pump your brakes. Following recent reports that she and Quavo are officially dating, Karrueche Tran exclusively confirmed to us that is not the case.
“No, we are not,” she said, despite rumors swirling that the two are the latest celebrity couple. You’ll recall that rumors initially began to circulate back in January after Karrueche Tran and Quavo appeared to be vacationing together.
As we previously reported back in December, Karrueche took to social media to let her fans know where she stood on relationships just before the New Year arrived. “Cutting men out of my diet next year,” she wrote on her Instagram stories at the time. In a separate video addressing her dating preferences for 2022, she made it clear that she wasn’t bashing men, but instead putting herself first.
“I just feel that there’s so much power in being alone, being content with being alone, and not being dependent on a man for validation or to feel good about myself or to feel fulfilled. …And sometimes I do feel that way and I do love the attention from men, but it’s also unnecessary and also, men are a distraction. I’m really trying to take my whole life to another level. Mentally, physically, my career. Just all of that. So, it’s just a little detox,” Karrueche stated in the previous clip.
Back in February 2021, Karrueche Tran and long-time boyfriend Victor Cruz split after dating for three years. Meanwhile, Quavo has not publicly addressed the rumors regarding the two.
