Congrats are in order to Kelly Rowland and her husband Tim Weatherspoon.
She recently announced in the latest issue of Women’s Health, that she is expecting her second child. She posted the cover, and photos from her spread in the magazine and said, “SURPRISE!! My Women’s Health Cover Issue is online now and on newsstands next week!”
In the issue, she reveals that she and her husband just went for it when it came to planning for their second child.

“We had been talking about it loosely, and then COVID happened, and we were just like, ‘Let’s see what happens,’” said Kelly.
She continued to share that she was able to get pregnant right away. However, she also shared that she was a little hesitant about sharing the news at first, seeing as how the world was experiencing a global pandemic, and there had also been a lot of racial unjust in the midst of everything.
Kelly continued to say, “But you still want to remind people that life is important. And being able to have a child…I’m knocking at 40’s door in February. Taking care of myself means a lot to me.”
Kelly and Tim tied the knot back in May 2014, and they welcomed their son Titan Jewell Weatherspoon later that year in November.
Kelly also expressed her concerns about her fans’ reaction to her baby news, seeing as how they have been patiently waiting for her to drop her new album as well. She dropped her last album “Talk A Good Game” back in 2013.
She said, “I was thinking, ‘Oh my god, my fans are gonna be so disappointed.…They wanted an album first, but they got a baby!’ And I was like, ‘I have to figure this out so they get both.’”
Back in 2016, Kelly dropped her first book “Woah Baby: A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out (And Wonder What the #*@& Just Happened),” which was a guide for new moms on what to expect after giving birth.
