According to an arrest affidavit, the situation began when Nottage was inside the residence while his grandmother and cousin returned from a grocery trip for a planned Mother’s Day dinner. Witnesses described the scene as chaotic and horrifying, with one family member yelling, “You stabbed my f—ing grandma!” after witnessing the repeated strikes.

Authorities say the violence did not end there, as Nottage allegedly pursued the cousin from the residence while still armed with the knife and making threats.
