Keshia Chant announced her pregnancy, and immediately, online users started mentioning her mega-famous former boo, Drake. After he shut down speculation about whether he’s the father of the unborn child, Kiki shared more about her actualpartner.
As reported, Keshia Chant revealed on Instagram on Tuesday (Oct. 6) that she’s expecting a baby. She included two photos of herself, one close-up and one zoomed out, that show her sitting on her legs, holding her baby bump with one hand while the other rests on her hip. In the caption, she expressed her excitement and gratitude to be her child’s mother. “Thank you, God. To my sweet baby, I am sooo in love,” she said, before teasing that her child’s father has studio time locked. She did not reveal the baby’s father.

Mommy & Daddy are so excited to welcome you into the world. Oh, and weve already got you booked & busy. Dadas got your studio locked and we expect your album to drop summer 2027. “
Next, after the announcement, came a collab post with Hello! Canada Magazine. It also showed photos, part of an exclusive interview, of Keshia Chant and her baby bump! In her chat with Hello!, Kiki shared that she’s expecting a son and that it was her partner’s idea to become parents.
“Im very free-spirited, and whatever the universe wants for me, I’ll have,” Keshia Chant told Hello! Canada. “But he said he was ready. He set up the play and he nailed it! God bless him.”
In her Instagram post and while speaking to Hello! Canada, Keshia Chant gave more hints about her child’s father. She said on both platforms that Daddy has studio time lined up, suggesting he could be in the industry. And Keshia wants their son to be Daddy’s mini-me!
“Hes brilliant and super creative and just constantly doing things that Im inspired by,” Chant told Hello!. “So I would love to see my son have his mannerisms and his swag.”
Also, a representative for Keshia separately told TMZ that her son’s dad is a “public figure in music,” but did not disclose a name. His identity is seemingly being kept private as Keshia, per her rep, is “protective of her family.” That’s why she kept her pregnancy a public secret for nearly eight months.
Keshia Chant peoples aren’t the only ones addressing the identity of her child’s father. Drake reportedly denied that he’s expecting another child, much less with his first girlfriend. His rep, The Agency Group, told TMZ that Kiki and Drake’s friendship is just that and that rumors he fathered her child are 100% “inaccurate.”
For now, it looks like the OVO hitmaker remains a daddy of one to Adonis, who will turn 9 next week. Drake and Adonis’ mother, Sophie Brussaux, typically celebrate their mini-me with lavish parties. Earlier this year, on Father’s Day, Sophie got married.
