Keshia Chanté Reveals Pregnancy With Maternity Photos
As reported, Keshia Chanté revealed on Instagram on Tuesday (Oct. 6) that she’s expecting a baby. She included two photos of herself, one close-up and one zoomed out, that show her sitting on her legs, holding her baby bump with one hand while the other rests on her hip. In the caption, she expressed her excitement and gratitude to be her child’s mother. “Thank you, God. To my sweet baby, I am sooo in love,” she said, before teasing that her child’s father has studio time locked. She did not reveal the baby’s father.
“I’ve spent every day daydreaming about you and all the fun adventures I want to take you on. I’m so excited to make holidays special, create beautiful memories and experience life through your eyes. Keshia Teases Details About Her Unborn Child’s Father
Next, after the announcement, came a collab post with Hello! Canada Magazine. It also showed photos, part of an exclusive interview, of Keshia Chanté and her baby bump! In her chat with Hello!, Kiki shared that she’s expecting a son and that it was her partner’s idea to become parents.
“I’m very free-spirited, and whatever the universe wants for me, I’ll have,” Keshia Chanté told Hello! Canada. “But he said he was ready. He set up the play and he nailed it! God bless him.”
In her Instagram post and while speaking to Hello! Canada, Keshia Chanté gave more hints about her child’s father. She said on both platforms that Daddy has studio time lined up, suggesting he could be in the industry. And Keshia wants their son to be Daddy’s mini-me!
“He’s brilliant and super creative and just constantly doing things that I’m inspired by,” Chanté told Hello!. “So I would love to see my son have his mannerisms and his swag.”
Also, a representative for Keshia separately told TMZ that her son’s dad is a “public figure in music,” but did not disclose a name. His identity is seemingly being kept private as Keshia, per her rep, is “protective of her family.” That’s why she kept her pregnancy a public secret for nearly eight months.
Drake Denies Rumors Claiming He’s Expecting A Child
Keshia Chanté peoples aren’t the only ones addressing the identity of her child’s father. Drake reportedly denied that he’s expecting another child, much less with his first girlfriend. His rep, The Agency Group, told TMZ that Kiki and Drake’s friendship is just that and that rumors he fathered her child are 100% “inaccurate.”
For now, it looks like the OVO hitmaker remains a daddy of one to Adonis, who will turn 9 next week. Drake and Adonis’ mother, Sophie Brussaux, typically celebrate their mini-me with lavish parties. Earlier this year, on Father’s Day, Sophie got married.
