Kevin Gates Seemingly Calls Brittany Renner “Bae”
The rapper isn’t known to be shy about speaking what’s on his mind or doing him! While we’ve seen Kevin pop out with women like wellness coach Jade Ramey, there are no credible reports to suggest he and his wife, Dreka Gates, are divorced. So, anytime he debuts who seems like a new boo, the internet starts going off!
That’s exactly what happened on Wednesday (April 2)after he shared a video of Brittany Renner riding Passenger Princess next to him on his page. They were blasting ‘Candy Rain’ by Soul For Real, and Kevin was singing the lyrics and dancing before they both busted out laughing. “If unbothered was a person,” he said afterward.
“I hope this makes somebody smile today bae u kno im 🤪 goofy 😂🤣😂 #Amilio #Alhamdulillah #LoveThisForMe,” Kevin Gates wrote in the caption.
What Are Dreka & Brittany Saying?
Has Dreka Gates responded to this surprise link-up? Nope. Instead, on Wednesday, the entrepreneur released a video encouraging her 3.1 million IG followers to stay “grounded” with a video of her walking barefoot in different environments.
“Your reminder to ground as much as possible. Connecting with the earth is a reset for your entire being,” Mrs. Gates wrote, tagging her wellness company in the caption, too.
Note that Dreka and Kevin Gates do not follow each other on the ‘gram, but we can’t say how long that’s been the case.
As for Brittany Renner, the video with Kevin Gates isn’t on HER page, nor has she posted anything about it. Here is a quick recap of Brittany Renner’s 180 in the last seven-ish months. In August 2024, she announced to her Instagram followers that she had turned to Allah. That means a drastic change in her risqué public persona and manner of dress. She’s appeared committed to her religious journey, often opening up about how her journey has caused some financial troubles and changes in how she dates. In January, she said it had been six months since her last alcoholic drink and eight months without engaging in sex.
In late February, she opened up to her IG followers about not dating since becoming Muslim. She said that “plenty” of married Muslim men have been in her DMs. However, she wasn’t ready to “sign up” for the multi-women lifestyle.

That was a little over a month ago, so it’s unclear when Brittany Renner started kicking it with Kevin Gates AGAIN. Some folks might recall that they publicly talked about their alleged past sexual escapades in a viral, NSFW Instagram video in 2022. So, they’re not complete strangers! That same year, they seemingly flirted while she was interviewing him at Rolling Loud. Most recently, Brittany was also present when Kevin Gates pulled up for an interview with DDG last week.

Woman Claiming To Be Kevin Gates’ Girlfriend Sounds OFF
While Dreka Gates might not be chattin’ about her husband’s moves, another woman claiming to be his girlfriend is. The woman, known as Persia P, accused the rapper of being “manipulative and narcissistic.” Kevin Gates wasn’t the only one who got flamed, though; Persia also went off on Brittany Renner. She claimed Kevin called Brittany “washed” and said the influencer peeped them together and still hit the rapper to link.
“You turned Muslim because it’s a trend, and it’s honestly a mockery to the religion. Cut it out,” Persia P said. “Brittany, you preach that you don’t want to deal with a man that deals with multiple women, yet you’re dealing with one. How contradicting is that? And I’m all about being devoted to one God but do it for the right reasons. You literally turned to Islam because you’re on your last leg.”
Persia said she’s tired of being the “nice, cool, laid-back girl.” She claimed she knew what she was getting into being with a rapper but added, “certain things that are just way too disrespectful.” At this time, it’s unclear how long she and Kevin Gates have allegedly been seeing each other.
