Kevin Hart sat down with Chelsea Handler and spoke about his relationship with his new wife Eniko Parrish Hart, as well as his relationship with his ex wife, Torrei Hart.
“I was young on my first marriage Chelsea, I’m not ashamed to say it,” he said. ” I got married at the age of 22. I was still all over the place. I didn’t really understand the definition of marriage. I wasn’t ready for it, so I take responsibility. I can say I messed my first marriage up. I’m man enough to say that.”
Kevin also joked that maybe we shouldn’t blame him because he was at ‘the prime of his sexy’ at the time. Lawd.
As far as his the problems he previously went through with his ex wife Torrei, Kevin says that they are now at an amazing place, all while being friends and co-parenting.
Seeing as he had an unsuccessful marriage in the past, Kevin says it took some time for him to get to this place again, but he got there mainly because Eniko deserved to be wifed up.
“To make this step is a big step. It took me some time,” he said. “It took seven years and then I was like, ‘You know what? She deserves it, because I can’t just keep letting this walk around free. That’s not fair to her. I got to lock this up.'” He said about his new wife, who he usually refers to as his ‘rib.’
It seems like Kevin, Eniko, Torrei, and the kids have the blended family thing down! Here they all are with Kevin as he received his Hollywood star on the Walk of Fame earlier this week.
