Just when it seemed like things had finally settled between Chris Brown and Kevin McCall, a new twist brought the drama right back to the timeline and this time, Marios name got pulled in. After a simple post from Chris, the comment section turned into a mini showdown that nobody saw coming. Even Young Thug got caught up in the mess but quickly backtracked, leaving everyone wondering what really went down.
Chile…old flames and old beefs reignited in Chris Browns Instagram comments this week! On Wednesday, Breezy dropped three pics of himself with his iconic track ‘Deuces’ featuring Kevin McCall playing over the post. Not missing a beat, Mario slid into the comments with a facepalm and crying-laughing emoji which many took as a little playful shade. And best believe, Kevin caught the vibe and came through with a subtle but pointed clapback.
“[Mario] watch when i see u brother. Ah kee kee ah keeapologize right now matter fact and Ill give u a passi respect all men. But dont do it over Sir NOSTRILS ill really sing you Under the tableim Not a camera ManIm a East Side n*gga -imma p*ssy watch when we meet for a sing off face to face u better not run either i run a 4:4 40 yard dash still Champ #relax,” Kevin replied back to Mario’s comment.
But Mario quickly caught Kevins heat and fired back with a sharp response, shutting down the songwriters claims of being able to outperform him while urging him to change his life. To note, Mario may have peeped that on Wednesday, October 22, a clip from Kevin’s sit-down with ‘Back On Figg’ showed him giving Mario his props as a singer while also calling him “corny.”
“[Kevin McCall] Bro Stop lol do you know what I come from? Thats another conversation! But drop some music n*gga R&B up right now. And you out singing me EVER sounds crazy. Use this platform to change ur life,” Mario responded.
Kevin then fired back at Marios reaction, but honestly, most fans were left scratching their heads trying to decode what he was really saying. Amid the confusion, Kevin threw down a challenge for the Let Me Love You singer to sing against him, upping the stakes. He wrapped up his response with a playful jab, calling Mario nostrils, adding another layer to their low-key showdown.
Fans wasted no time flooding The Shade Room comment section, and best believethey went IN! Some were asking if Kevins still selling those food stamps he mentioned the other day, while others jumped to Marios defense, warning Kevin to back off. Meanwhile, plenty found Kevins choice of words downright hilarious and couldnt stop laughing at the whole exchange.
One Instagram user, @cultchathrowback, said, “Kevin going out sad since he showed that EBT card ”
This Instagram user @_beautifullmia_ added, “You know he pissed. I had a damn stroke trying to read his response.“
And, Instagram user @krystle_mac5 commented, “That’s exactly why Kevin is in the position he is in!“
Meanwhile, Instagram user @bnurse87 shared, “Ask Omarion what happened when he underestimated Mario? ”
While Instagram user @ischel_mo9 added, “‘Nostrils’ is sending me. ”
Likewise, Instagram user @raeglenice said, “Im sorry. but ‘Nostrils’ is hilarious. ”
Finally, Instagram user @_danaalexia wrote, “Im sorry but ‘ahh kee kee ah kee’ is sending me lmao ”
It looks like Young Thug might be doing a little backtracking! Just yesterday, Thugger hopped on X to offer Kevin McCall a helping hand, saying, Kevin McCall hit me my n*gga, Ill give u the 25k u need, and I no CB would give it to u also bro he a real one. N*ggas is busy sometimes brada. But fast forward a day later, and it seems the rapper had a change of heart. While its unclear what made him take it back, fans definitely noticed the apparent switch-up after he hit Instagram with, Sorry Mc lol ain no this was all happening kid. Now, social medias side-eyeing the whole situation, wondering what made Thug pull the plug so fast.
If you havent been keeping up, Kevin McCall recently got real about his struggles on the latest episode of the Back On Figg podcast, revealing hes been on government assistance and even referenced his past work with Chris Brown. In the emotional clip, Kevin called out Brown, saying, N****s are at Breezy Bowl, making $90 million, and it say, K-K-K-K-Mac. Can I get $25,000 for them four songs I owe you, bro? But it wasnt just fans who noticedChris Brown himself fired a subtle shot back on Instagram, writing, Remember this: you cant walk across a burnt bridge. And you know whats funnier than a troll? A BROKE ONE.
