Mario is gearing up to join Team Fatherhood for the first time! Days before his 39th birthday, his girlfriend announced her pregnancy with a few baby bump flicks. PEOPLE has identified her as Esmeralda Rios.
Reactions ranged from congratulatory messages to borderline spicy comments. As the announcement gained some online traction, Mario stepped into The Shade Room to ask fans (and critics) for a special favor!
Earlier this week, on August 26, The Shade Room reposted photos from Esmeralda Rios’ social media account. One photo shows the singer cradling her exposed bump from behind as the parents-to-be smile. Another photo shows Mario kissing Esmerald’s belly. Meanwhile, a third flick shows the pregnant mama chucking up the deuces, sticking her tongue out and resting the other hand on her bump. In her caption, she wrote:
“Whoopsss…I ate too many brownies,” Esmeralda wrote with kissing, heart, teary-eyed and pregnant woman emojis.
Another photo Mario shared on his Instagram Stories showed him placing his hand on Rios’ baby bump. He wrote,“It’s a whole universe in there! I can’t wait.”
As the rest of the internet ate up the photos, over 13,000 roommates also weighed in on the pregnancy. While some messages showed his life update, love, others referenced other viral moments concerning Mario’s dating history. For example, last year, he clapped back at a social media user who called out his romances with “white girls.” At the time, he said, “I like good energy and who loves me the way thats healthy. Could be Black, white, Mexican, alienI dated an alien before it was great.”
Mario slid into The Shade Room and asked the commentators to be easy with the feedback this time.“DILF ALERT,” he wrote, adding several laughing emojis and, “YA’ll keep the frequency high, ok…..THANK YOU! THIS IS THE BEST BDAY GIFT!”
That said, not much else is known about their relationship. According to several blogs, visuals showed the couple smooching at an event in July.
As Mario said, this week also marks his 39th year. He celebrated on August 27. On his Instagram page, he made three posts on his daythe first showing him standing on a beach shoreline wearing the same outfit he had on in the pregnancy announcement. Esmeralda Rios appeared in the slide, too, chilling on a couch with Mario’s hand on their baby bump. Meanwhile, the second post boasted his new song with Kehlani, ‘Folded Remix.’
