Keyshia Cole Talks To Ari Lennox About Her Recent Issues With O.T. Genasis

There has been a lot of back and forth between Keyshia Cole and O.T. Genasis recently. Early Friday morning, Keyshia opened up to fellow singer Ari Lennox about the drama, and how she really feels.

As you all remember, it all started late last year when O.T. covered Keyshia’s classic single “Love,” but put his own special twist to it. Keyshia responded to the release of his version and shared that she would like for her classic records to be left alone.

That resulted in O.T. doing a little bit of trolling on social media, but that eventually came to an end. Things reignited when Keyshia said she would show her support for 21 Savage if he were to compete with O.T. in a singing battle. Keyshia’s support caused O.T. to throw on his petty boots and things started to spiral out of control, to the point that Keyshia’s sister Neffe got involved and went back and forth with O.T.

During the Instagram Live with Ari Lennox, Keyshia told her why she felt the way she did when he covered her song and said, “It just pissed me off some much because at a time when people was going through so much in the black community, and getting pulled over and killed, and you wanna do a whole song I wrote about love, and killing and bang bang, and all that.”

Ari showed that she understood where Keyshia was coming from and said, “It just shows that this evil entity from jump did not have your best interest at heart at all. The way he’s acting now just shows, this was a disgusting evil piece of sh*t f*ck. He did not at all about your legend, and your discography and everything that you’ve offered to the world. It just shows trust me.”
