For the past few days, Khloe Kardashian has been making headlines as it has been reported that her team has been working to get an unauthorized photo of her removed from social media. She has been silent about the whole matter until now.
On Wednesday, Khloe quickly went live on Instagram, and during the live Khloe could be seen showing off her body to show what it looked like in real-time. There have been many talks about her photos being retouched and edited, so she wanted to show fans all of the hard work she’s put in when it comes to getting in shape and staying in shape.
Shortly after the Instagram live ended, Khloe posted a clip from the live as well as another video of her standing in the mirror showing off her body, along with a statement. She captioned the post and said, “Yes I did a live to show you all this isn’t photoshopped.”
In the statement, she said, “Hey Guys, this is me and my body untouched and unfiltered. The photo that was posted this week is beautiful. But as someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn’t flattering in bad lighting or doesn’t capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point, and then shares it to the world, you should have every right to ask for it to not be shared, regardless of who you are.”
Khloe continued to speak on the pressure she has felt over the years and the harsh comments she’s faced as well as the comparisons to her siblings, and the self-love and acceptance she has developed while working on bettering herself.
