Kim Kardashian Pushes For Pay Raise For Incarcerated Firefighters
While Khloé Kardashian was calling out Mayor Karen Bass, Kim Kardashian was busy advocating for higher pay for incarcerated firefighters who are on the frontlines battling the wildfires. On Saturday, Jan. 11, Kim shared a message on her Instagram Stories, emphasizing that these inmates are heroes, risking their lives — and some even losing them — in the ongoing the crisis. See Kim K.’s full statement below.
“On all 5 fires in Los Angeles, there are hundreds of incarcerated firefighters, risking their lives to save us. They are on the Palisades fire and Eaton fire in Pasadena working 24 hour shifts. They get paid almost nothing, risking their lives, some have died, to prove to the community that they have changed and are now first responders. I see them as heroes,” Kim wrote.
