Khloé Kardashian Says It’s Hurtful When The Woman Is Blamed For Their Partner’s Wrongdoings

The internet dug into 2019 following a recent ‘Variety’ interview with Khlo Kardashian. Social media users, in particular, rehashed Tristan Thompson’s 2019 cheating scandal involving Jordyn Woods. Khlo’s comments on positivity, the media and its portrayal of her life sparked the chatter. One part of Khloe’s answer regarding the “most hurtful thing said” about her had the public commentary going.

Also, Im very vulnerable and very transparent and Ive had my relationships in the public eye. If your significant other is doing something wrong, for the woman to be blamed, thats always been really hurtful for me, Khloe said.

Khlo Speaks On The Public

More than a month before Hulu’s premiere of The Kardashians, the family unit is dominating headlines. Just this week, Kim K received praise and pushback for her advice to business women on work ethics and success.

Now, Khloe is facing a similar firestorm. This time people are invested in the differences between Khloe’s approach towards Jordyn in 2019 and her recent comments to Variety. In the same breath, Khlo mentioned not understanding people’s response towards the person on the receiving end of the wrongdoings.

“Ive never quite understood that instead of there being some sympathy or like, Wow, that must really suck to have to go through that. And not only go through it, but then go through it so publicly,” Khlo said. “I dont even care if people have sympathy. I just dont understand why theres so much finger pointing like it must be me. Thats a heavy thing to carry.”

Social Media Reacts

Reactions came as simple as, “so now she fully understand how Jordyn felt?” But other critiques dove deeper.

“But Jordyn Woods was somehow the exception,” Twitter MphoMoalamedi wrote. “She solely blamed Jordyn who was 19 at the time for destroying her family and had her sisters and other friends bully Jordyn yet keeps on going back to Tristan who will cheat on her with anything with a pair of legs.”

Jordyn-Tristan-Khlo History

You may recall Jordyn spoke with Jada Pinkett Smith on ‘Red Table Talk’ to address what went down between her and Tristan at his house party in February 2019. She admitted to not telling the full truth in the beginning in an effort to protect Khlo’s heart. But, she also denied that anything happened beyond Tristan giving her a kiss.

I know I am not the reason that Tristan and Khlo are not together, Jordyn said on the segment. Now this situation may have made it harder for her to want to be with him, and I understand that, but I know Im not the reason.

In response, Khlo blasted the then 21-year-old in a series of still available tweets. She blamed Jordyn for the split of her family and suggested she’d address Tristan the same way.

On The Next Episode…

Since this incident, once-inseparable besties Jordyn and Kylie cut ties. Khlo has addressed the situation publicly, but hasn’t directly apologized to Jordyn. And, don’t-learn-his-lesson Tristan continued to be involved in cheating scandals. Just months ago, he issued a public apology to Khlo after fathering a child with another woman while attempting to rebuild their romantic relationship.

Khlo also told the publication that viewers can expect to see the paternity situation play out on their upcoming show. As of Friday evening, neither Khlo, Jordyn or Tristan have responded to their trending status.
