Kim Kardashian Says Co-Parents Should Be Each Other’s “Biggest Cheerleader” Amid Divorce

Kim Kardashian and her children—North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm—recently linked with Vogue for a  family magazine cover and spread! The reality television star and billionaire entrepreneur shared some of the photos taken by Carlijn Jacobs. She spoke about several topics, including co-parenting with estranged husband Kanye West. Kimmy made it clear that when it comes to the kiddos, parents should be on each other’s team.

“You could be so hurt or angry at your ex, but I think in front of the kids, it always has to be ‘Your dad’s the best,’ ” Kim told Vogue. “Make sure you are your co-parent’s biggest cheerleader, no matter what you’re personally going through.”

The Status Of Their Relationship

Despite Kim and Kanye filing for divorce in 2021, both showed public love and support in 2021. Kim pulled up and participated in ‘DONDA’ listening events– hello wedding dress moment! Kanye sat in the audience during Kim’s SNL stint. Kim thanked Kanye in her Fashion Icon Award for introducing her to the fashion world.

But the pair ended the year on opposite ends, from the eye of the public. Kanye asked Kim to run back to him during a concert. Shortly after, Kim filed documents to change her legal status to single. Per court documents, Kim had repeatedly requested Kanye agree to terminate their marital status. Then, the Pete Davidson rumors kicked up a notch. Kanye met Julia and launched into a public whirlwind romance.

Kim For Vogue

Per Vogue, Kim hasn’t spoken openly on the marriage ending. But, in the March issue, she explained her mindset for her 40s.

“For so long, I did what made other people happy,” Kim told Vogue writer Jen Wang. “And I think in the last two years I decided, I’m going to make myself happy. And that feels really good.”

She added, “and even if that created changes and caused my divorce, I think it’s important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy. I’ve chosen myself. I think it’s okay to choose you.”

The magazine story came with colorful shots of Kim and her children on a basketball court. Per the story, Kim built the court for Kanye during their seven-year marriage.

Shortly after the photos and story hit the net, Kanye posted his children and estranged wife to his Instagram page. His message echoed his sentiments at the concert, at Drink Champs. Kanye wants his family back.

“God please bring our family back together,” Kanye wrote in the caption.

Within eight hours of posting, the message received more than 1.6 million likes and over 51,000 comments. But, not one, that we’ve seen from Kim herself. If you’ve been keeping up, Kim recently had words for Kanye after he posted several accusatory messages about the mother. He demanded an apology from the entire Kardashian women, including Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble. He said Kim tried to kidnap their daughter by not inviting him to Chicago’s recent birthday party.

“Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all,” the 41-year-old wrote.
