At this point, Kim Kardashian is a master when it comes to slaying photo shoots—and she’s done it again. In a recent photo spread with 7HOLLYWOOD magazine, Kim channeled her inner Elizabeth Taylor for a retro-inspired look with haute couture fashion.
Kim Kardashian has graced the cover of practically every major magazine there is, both nationally and internationally, and she always knows how to bring it. This time she gorgeously combined retro styling and high fashion for a photo shoot that’s the perfect way to end 2019.
Featuring designs by the legendary Thierry Mugler and makeup by her bestie makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, Kim posted photos and video from the shoot wearing various Mugler designs, including a red pantsuit and a high-neck, black and gold embellished mini dress.
Each look from the photo shoot was also conceptualized and styled by Mugler, complete with glamorous accessories. Kim was draped in multiple rings, show-stopping earrings and iced out necklaces and bracelets.
Kim is a die-hard fan of Mugler, wearing one of his designs to this year’s Met Gala, which landed her on several best-dressed lists. At the time of the Met Gala, she said this of the designer:
“This is the first time in 20 years Mr. Mugler has designed for the House of Mugler. So to come and design this gown for me is such an honor. This is about eight months in the making … He envisioned me this California girl stepping out of the ocean, wet, dripping.”
Well, we know it will only be a matter of time before Kim turns it up in another photo shoot!
