Kim Zolciak is setting the record straight after her daughter Ariana Biermann dropped some serious allegations on Bravos ‘Next Gen NYC.’ Ariana claimed Kim was dipping into her and sister Brielles hard-earned money without their knowledge. Now, Kims clapping back, revealing what she actually used the funds for while spilling tea on her new man. Heres the lowdown
The drama kicked off during the series premiere of Next Gen NYC, where Ariana didnt hold back about her mom and dad, Kroy Biermann. In a heated confessional, Ariana alleged that Kim was secretly taking money from the earnings she made as a teen through Instagram brand deals.
I cant say exactly what they used it on because I just found out that it was gone two years ago, Ariana said. I dont even know how much money I made over the time period. Nobody was honest. There was no transparency. And I have no idea where it actually went.
The revelation surprised some viewers, painting Kim as a mom who mightve been mismanaging her daughters funds. The accusations didnt stop at Ariana, though, as Brielles money was allegedly touched too, leaving viewers wondering what really went down in the Zolciak-Biermann household.
Kim wasnt about to let these claims slide without telling her side. During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on July 31, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star got real about Arianas accusations. Kim didnt deny taking the money but gave context to the situation. Actually, the rug was pulled out from the Zolciaks, and Arianas money was spent on bills, to be honest. I was left holding the bag for the family, Kim explained, per Us Magazine. She admitted to using Arianas earnings to cover household expenses such as utilities. This was because Kim says she was left with nothing after financial struggles hit hard.
When Andy pressed about Brielles money, Kim kept it all the way real. Brielle paid an electric bill here and there… I was left with nothing, so I had to figure it out fast,” she said.Kim insisted shes already paid Ariana back for what was borrowed and promised to settle any remaining debts.
The money I borrowed from Ariana, I paid her back for the bills and stuff. And as far as what shes made and all that stuff, I dont have the spreadsheets, but she will be [paid back], she said.
Kims explanation gave skeptical fans some clarity about Arianas initial claims, assuring that she has (or is in the process of) paying the money back.
While the money drama took center stage, Kim also dropped some positive news about her love life. Post-divorce from Kroy, the mom of two is glowing and ready to move on for good.
