Looks like Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are unstoppable when it comes to making money and now their lawsuit settlement is another check that has been added to the West’s piggy bank!
According to TMZ, Kimye won their lawsuit against YouTube co-founder, Chad Hurley, after he was accused of leaking their engagement online.
The lawsuit claims that back in 2013, Hurley snuck his way into AT&T Park in San Francisco in order to see Kanye propose to Kim. Not only was he not supposed to be there, he chose to exploit their engagement even after signing a confidentiality agreement. He secretly filmed the proposal and then posted it to Mixbit, which is a company he owns.
Kimye’s attorney, Eric George believed Hurley was so thirsty to find something to put him back on top since after selling YouTube, two of his latest ideas have been fails. Welp now it has ended with him having to pay a hefty $440,000 bill!
Hurley is ordered to pay the bill within the next few days, which may seem like considerable pocket change since he did sell YouTube for $1.6 billion!! The lawsuit will be dismissed after the debt is paid.
