King Harris is embracing fatherhood with gratitude! The 21-year-old penned a sweet message for his son King Jr., celebrating his first birthday. Harris and his family, including his son’s mother, J’Nijah ‘Nana’ Epps, and his parents, T.I. and Tiny, also traveled to Disney to mark the occasion. Alongside photos and videos from the last year, King also opened up about growing from a “boy to a man” after welcoming his son!

King Harris Reflects On His Son’s Impact On His Life
On Wednesday (November 5), King Harris called his son his “savior, best friend, EVERYTHING” in a lengthy post on Instagram. He spoke about time flying, and reflected on being locked up a month before KJ’s birthday in November 2024. Jail records at the time stated that King had been arrested for failure to appear in court for 2022 driving-related charges. A police officer had discovered King had a warrant after pulling him over for a near accident with the cop car in Dunwoody, Georgia.
“I remember getting locked up a month before you was born and in the cell thinking bout if you and your mama are ok, even though tuff times I went through in life, you are who I stayed strong for I always knew I was gon have a son it was always my plan since a kid,” King wrote in his IG caption. “You turn me from a boy to man son and I appreciate you for that, We gonna be best friends and have so much fun BUT IM STILL YOUR FATHER REMEMBER ITS BOUNDARIES AND A TIME AND A PLACE FOR PLAYING, I’ll make sure you know all the game I learned later in life and I wished I could have learned early BUT ITS ALL TUFF LOVE SON YOU WILL BE A REAL MAN.”
King Harris also promised his one-year-old that he’ll always be present, and believe in him. He also said that he’d give his life for his son. “PLEASE UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE A REAL ARMY BEHIND YOU‼️‼️‼️ WITH THAT IS A LOT OF POWER SON. DADDY IS NOT PLAYIN BOUT U, ILL BLOW DA WHOLE CITY UP BOUT YA WIT THE POWER YOU WILL HAVE YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO USE IT RESPONSIBILITY THATS THE IMPORTANT PART, AIN’T A PIECE OF HAIR ON A HEAD WE WON’T TOUCH BOUT U THANKS FOR COMING INTO MY LIFE AND CHANGING IT FOR THE BETTER BABY K, NOW ITS MY TURN TO RETURN THE FAVOR,” the caption said.
Harris Family & Loved Ones Travel To Disney For Birthday Celebration
As mentioned above, Harris, his son’s mother J’Nijah and several of their loved ones traveled to Disney with KJ, who is now walking. King shared a few clips on his Instagram Story, showing the one-year-old chilling in his stroller, wearing Disney gear. Other clips showed him with his pop-pop T.I. watching cartoons on a cell phone. What seemed like a few hours into the adventure, the little one was knocked out! In the caption of his Disney recap video, King teased new music over clips of him pushing his son’s stroller.

Amid the Disney footage, King also shared screenshots of KJ’s godparents, Young Thug and Mariah the Scientist, facing his one-year-old.
