The highly anticipated sequel to the classic film “Space Jam,” has reportedly added a few big names set to appear in the film, alongside LeBron James.

According to ESPN, multiple reports have claimed that Klay Thompson, Damian Lillard, and LeBron’s new teammate Anthony Davis is set to appear in the film. However, that’s not all. WNBA stars Diana Taurasi and the Ogwumike sisters, Nneka and Chiney, have also landed roles in the film.

As we previously reported, Ryan Coogler will serve as a producer on the film, while Terence Nance will direct the film.

Last year when LeBron’s SpringHill Entertainment Company confirmed the sequel, LeBron said, “The Space Jam collaboration is so much more than just me and the Looney Tunes getting together and doing this movie. It’s so much bigger. I’d just love for kids to understand how empowered they can feel and how empowered they can be if they don’t just give up on their dreams. And I think Ryan did that for a lot of people.”

The first film starring Michael Jordan released back in 1996 and featured the now Hall of Famer helping out the Looney Tunes with their basketball team as they work to defeat the Monstars.

Roommates, are you looking forward to “Space Jam 2?”
