Details About Lala & Carmelo Anthony’s Finalized Divorce
Roomies, it’s wrapped and packed for good between Lala and Carmelo Anthony! According to court documents TMZ cited, the ex-couple informed a court of their settlement deal this week. However, they’re keeping the terms confidential, meaning it’s unclear whether either party walked away with a lump sum, homes, cars or any other shared marital property.
One issue that might no longer be on the table is child support, given that their only son together, Kiyan, is now a legal adult attending college and building a basketball career of his own.

A Relationship Recap
Lala Anthony and Carmelo Anthony’s relationship has long been a topic of conversation. From marriage to welcoming their son to Melo’s infidelity producing another child, the ex-couple’s story is a bit rough around the edges. According to Essence, Lala and Melo met in 2003 through a mutual friend and began dating shortly afterward. The following year, in December 2004, Carmelo put a rock on Lala’s finger and less than two years later, in March 2007, Kiyan was born.
Three years later, in 2010, the couple finally wed in New York City in front of 300 people, including a celebrity-studded guest list. Seven years later, in April 2017, they separated for first time amid infidelity rumors surrounding the then-NBA player. Then, in December 2018, they reconciled. But by the following summer, trouble creeped in again. In June 2021, Lala Anthony filed for divorce from Carmelo after 11 years of marriage and now that process, as of November 2026, has been finalized.
