By now, we all know that Lamar Odom now in a new loving relationship with his bae Sabrina Parr. Recently, the couple stopped by Dish Nation to have a chat with Gary With Da Tea, and they talked about their relationship and what brought them together.
When asked what makes his current relationship different from previous, he said, “It’s the truth, she’s black. All them other relationships weren’t.” He admitted that in his previous relationships, he was just able to have his way.
Sabrina, who mentioned that she was also previously married and now divorced, also talked about why this relationship is different and said, “This relationship for me is different for me because he is not intimidated of me at all. I know how I come across and I’m okay with it. He embraced it, he said to me he needs someone aggressive because he’s so laid back and passive.”
Lamar also talked about getting cut from the Big 3 Basketball League because of problems that he has with his back. Sabrina also shared her disappointment in him being released from the league.
When asked why she decided to give Lamar a chance, after knowing his past, Sabrina said, “You have to meet people where they are. He was never in the position to be someone’s husband. He was sick; he needed to heal to grieve. He experienced a lot of losses and he never had time to go through that. So I knew with my resources and personality and my attitude, I could help him, and initially, a woman is a helpmate.”
Instead of judging him based on the rumors that she heard about him, Sabrina was more interested in getting to know Lamar for herself first hand.
The question of if they would be interested in appearing on reality television, they said they would be open to the idea.
