It looks like Lamar Odom is making great progress as the former NBA player was recently released from Ceders-Sinai hospital is Los Angeles this past week. It was reported that he has been transported to private facility to continue his recovery.
Lamar’s aunt JaNean Mercer confirmed to ET that he has made his transition from the hospital and into a private facility. She said, “It is with extreme gratitude and appreciation to all of you around the world who have prayed without ceasing for Lamar, that we announce his transition to the next stage of his miraculous recovery at a new facility. Lamar continues to make remarkable strides and we are asking that you continue to respect our privacy. Again we thank you all greatly, your support has been paramount in helping to uplift us during these past few difficult months.”
It is also being reported that he will not face criminal charges for the alleged drug binge at the Love Ranch in Nevada late last October. The Nye County District Attorney said in a statement, “Although the evidence showed Mr. Odom had metabolized cocaine in his system, he was not found in the possession of cocaine and it is unlikely it could be established beyond a reasonable doubt he actually ingested, or was impaired by, the drug during the time he was within the jurisdiction of Nye County.”
Lamar suffered from brain damage, a stroke, and was reportedly using a ventilator.
Recently, Lamar’s son shared the first photo of his dad since his hospitalization. The photo caption read, “Christmas with my pops. Here’s to 2016. Blessed
