You know what they say–if you embarrass someone in public, you should apologize in public too! That’s exactly what Tristan Thompson did on Monday night after finding out he fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. Following his apology to Khloe Kardashian, fans sent her will wishes and her ex-husband Lamar Odom was reportedly in that number as well.
According to reports, Lamar left a comment on a Facebook post regarding Khloe and Tristan, wishing her nothing but the best after the bombshell announcement and apology.
“I truly wish nothing but the best for her and I’m hoping we can reconnect and talk one day as friends. She’s a good person and deserves the world,” the comment read.
The comment was reportedly posted on a photo of Tristan’s apology posted by Facebook page, ‘Sleepless In Seattle,’ and it looks as though the post has since been deleted.
If y’all haven’t caught up on the tea, Tristan and Maralee Nichols have been going back in forth in court after Nichols alleged she had many sexual encounters with the NBA star, and became pregnant as a result. Tristan received the results from the paternity test in the case, and shared that he did father a child with Nichols. He then proceeded to send Khloe a public apology, as they were in a relationship at the time that he slept with Nichols.
“Khloe, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you,” Thompson wrote. “You don’t deserve that way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”
The status of Khloe and Tristan’s relationship is unclear at this time.
