Lamar Odom Says His Relationship With Taraji P. Henson Ended Because He Fell In Love With Khloe Kardashian

Lamar Odom has not been shy about about his past, and he gives us a look into his life every day. Now that he has overcome some of his greatest obstacles, and is moving toward living a happier life, Lamar has no problem putting us on to the tea!

In an interview with TV One, Lamar sits down to talk about everything from his children, to his basketball career, and his relationship with Taraji P. Henson. Yes, Roomies, you read that right.

Although his relationship with Khloe Kardashian overshadowed the one he had with Taraji P. Henson, Lamar admits that Taraji held a special place in his life, and taught him many life lessons. He also says his relationship with her was “the most significant relationship as a grown up that I had with a black woman.”

Lamar speaks of Taraji so eloquently, making sure to mention how much he appreciates her for all she taught him, and the experiences they had together. He also says Taraji was the inspiration behind one of the biggest wins in his career.

“I used to carry her picture on the road with me,” he says. “She gave me inspiration. She’s a black woman who’s just as good at her craft as I am at mine.”

He continues saying: “I remember we were on the road for our longest road trip playing Cleveland. And I went off on they a**. But being able to go back home to LA to see her was one of my inspirations for kicking a** that day,”

Despite how great their relationship was, Lamar blames himself for its end. He says he and Taraji did not work out because he was an “immature punk”, who couldn’t be honest about one thing…falling in love with Khloe Kardashian.
