Aww, Roommates! Congrats are in order for ‘Power’ star LaToya Tonodeo and ‘Found’ actor Arlen Escarpeta they have officially tied the knot! LaToya hopped on social media and gave fans a lil’ behind-the-scenes peek at their wedding photos, and babyyy, it’s nothing but pure, beautiful Black love.
LaToya Tonodeo, who fans know as Diana Tejada on ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ had fans in awe when she dropped some beautiful pics from her wedding day with her now husband, Arlen Escarpeta. Folks might know Arlen from his role as Zeke Wallace on NBC’s ‘Found.’
In the pics LaToya shared on Instagram, they looked like they popped straight off the top of a wedding cake. The couple told Essence in an exclusive interview that they said their “I Do’s” on June 29 at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in California. In the photos, LaToya served and slayed in a bomb billowy white dress, and Arlen came through looking super sharp in a black tux.
Fans were a little surprised when LaToya and Arlen dropped their wedding photos. But turns out, these two have known each other for a minute. They have reportedly been together for over five years now. The pair told Essence they originally connected through mutual friends in Los Angeles while grinding to make it as actors. What made them fall in love? LaToya said Arlen matches his words with his actions and always holds his family down. He treats his mother and his sisters with so much respect and adoration. I know that Im safe with him,” LaToya explained.
Arlen said LaToya is beautiful and he was drawn to her for being such a good soul. She checked all the boxes, including more than a few that I didnt even have in mind. More than just being absolutely beautiful and stunning, she is a good person from the inside out,” Arlen added.
