LeBron James Has Filed An Application To Trademark ‘Taco Tuesday’

We know when Tuesday night rolls around, LeBron James and family, like many other households, are busting down some tacos.

It seems like no one else is more excited about Taco Tuesday than LeBron and maybe Zhuri in the videos he posts Tuesday nights on social media celebrating his favorite day of the week.

But now it appears LeBron is making “Taco Tuesday” about more than just tacos. LeBron has filed a trademark application for the popular phrase, according to CBS Sports. LBJ Trademarks LLC filed the trademark for social media posts and a podcast, lawyer Josh Gerben revealed today on Twitter.

It sounds like LeBron may have plans to create weekly content in some way with that tagline and Gerben says a podcast is definitely possible.

LeBron reportedly wants the rights to “advertising and marketing services provided by means of indirect methods of marketing, communications, namely, social media, search engine marketing, inquiry marketing, mobile marketing, blogging and other forms of passive, shareable or viral communications channels.”

Now if you’ve been following Bron in his “Taco Tuesday” antics, you’d know that they started off as just dinner with his wife and children and have blown up to whole crowds screaming the catchphrase wearing LeBron’s custom “Taco Tuesday” T-shirts.
