LeBron James Speaks Out Following The Passing Of Kobe & Gianna Bryant

Many family members, friends, and peers continue to mourn the loss of one of basketball’s most legendary players and his daughter Gianna, as well as the seven other beautiful souls. People have been speaking out and sharing their own personal stories to help honor them.  LeBron James, who was close to Kobe throughout the years, broke his silence Monday night as he remembered his brother Kobe.

He said, “I literally just heard your voice Sunday morning before I left Philly to head back to LA. Didn’t think for one bit in a million years that would be the last conversation we’d have. WTF!! I’m heartbroken and devastated my brother!!”

LeBron continued, “Man I love you, big bro. My heart goes to Vanessa and the kids. I promise you I’ll continue your legacy man! You mean so much to us all here especially Laker Nation and it’s my responsibility to put this shit on my back and keep it going!! Please give me the strength from the heavens above and watch over me! I got US here! There’s so much more I want to say but just can’t right now because I can’t get through it! Until we meet again my brother!!”

As we previously reported, literally the night before Kobe’s shocking passing, LeBron had broken his scoring record and passed him on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, now making him #3.

Kobe took to social media to congratulate LeBron on his accomplishment. Unfortunately, his celebratory posts to LeBron would become his final posts to social media.

On Sunday, LeBron was spotted in tears from hearing the news about Kobe and Gianna as he left the Lakers team plane as they landed back in Los Angeles.

Roommates, we as that you continue to pray for the loved ones affected by this tragedy.
