After nearly four years of marriage and two children between them, LeToya Luckett and Tommicus Walker are calling it quits.
The couple welcomed their second child, a boy named Tysun, in October. About three months later, LeToya posted a statement on her Instagram page announcing their divorce.
“After very prayerful consideration, Tommicus and I have decided to get a divorce,” her statement began.
She then explained how she wants the couple to still have a good relationship for the sake of their young children.
“It is my deepest desire for us to be loving co-parents and keep a peaceful environment out of respect for our children,” her statement read.
She continues, “Please understand our need for privacy. Thank you in advance for your prayers, support & space to heal as we tread through this challenging time.”
For fans who have been paying attention, this divorce news may come as no surprise. Rumors of Tommicus’ alleged infidelities began swirling after a woman claimed to have slept with him around the time LeToya was pregnant.
It was rumored that LeToya even dumped Tommicus after that rumor made its rounds in August that he pulled a Tristan Thompson on her ahead of delivery.
But the alleged infidelities weren’t the only thing that pointed to their impending breakup.
Those who watched “T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle,” in which their family were stars, may have also noticed a decline in the couple’s relationship.
But despite the drama and cheating allegations, the couple seemingly pushed through and were able to celebrate the birth of their son just a few months ago.
And just two years ago, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter they named Gianna. We hope that the couple will do their best to keep things amicable for their babies. We’ll keep you posted.
