The Voice is finally using his voice! After nearly two years behind bars and a major courtroom victory, Lil Durk has broken his silence and let fans know exactly how hes feeling. And now, hes speaking on whats next as he looks toward freedom, family, and giving back to his community.
The rapper took to Instagram with his first public statement since the verdict, sharing a message of gratitude for the people who stood by him. Against all odds, were stronger together, he wrote. Allah doesnt make mistakes. I feel all the love and positive energy. Now let me be free to help save our kids and bring unity back to our communities. I couldnt have made it this far without my family, my lawyers, and supporters. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom.
Durk paired the message with a photo of his legal team, including attorneys Brian Steel and Drew Findling, who have represented high-profile hip-hop figures throughout their careers. Steel previously worked on the YSL RICO case, while Findling recently made headlines after NBA player Quinn Cook gifted him an OTF chain.

Big Durk told yall exactly what it is! After Lil Durk walked away from his federal murder-for-hire case with a not guilty verdict on all five charges, his father was outside the courthouse letting the world know just how much the moment meant to their family.
Speaking with TMZ outside the downtown Los Angeles federal courthouse Friday, Big Durk said he was bursting with joy and could barely contain his happiness. He shared that the entire family was on a high following the verdict and said Lil Durk always knew the day he would be found not guilty was coming. Now that the moment has arrived, Big Durk says the family is ready to celebrate in a major way.
