The rapper walked into Friday facing a jury’s decision that could have drastically changed his future — and now, that decision is in. Lil Durk’s Murder-For-Hire Trial Ends With Not-Guilty Verdict

Jurors reached a verdict Friday, September 11 in Lil Durk’s federal murder-for-hire trial, and the rapper was found NOT GUILTY on all counts. The case centered on an alleged plot prosecutors said targeted Tyquian Bowman, better known as Atlanta rapper Quando Rondo, during an ambush near the Beverly Center four years ago.

Prosecutors charged Durk and two others in connection with the alleged stalking and killing of a man during the 2022 shooting. Throughout the trial, prosecutors accused Durk of setting the alleged plan in motion. The federal jury began deliberating Wednesday after hearing closing arguments from both sides and spent several days considering the evidence before reaching its verdict.
