If there is any debate that remains consistent, it would be any debate that compares the likes of two different rappers. And on Thursday, Lil Duval sparked a debate when he compared DaBaby to Ludacris and Lil Baby to Jeezy.
He took to Twitter and said, “DaBaby is this generation, Ludacris.” He followed up with another tweet and said, “Lil Baby is this generation Jeezy.”

His tweets were met with some people who didn’t agree with his comparisons so he followed up with another comment in response.
He added, “I can’t believe some of y’all think da baby can’t rap. N*gga be snapping to me and he street. F*ck else y’all want?”

Lil Duval proceeded to share a side-by-side screenshot of Ludacris from his “Get Back” music video, and DaBaby from his “Suge” music video to show that there were similarities in their style.
One person responded to his tweet and said, “Nawwww. He ain’t Luda. Sorry, unc.”

Another person said, “It take more than funny videos to be Luda. Baby ain’t got the lyrical diversity. Luda has songs with everybody as well. Mane got massive hits. Baby with Justin Bieber was massive.”

When it comes to Lil Baby and Jeezy, Lil Duval says Baby has Atlanta on lock the way Jeezy once did.
“Lil baby got the streets how Jeezy had it in his prime,” he said. “Especially in Atlanta.”

Even after being named ASCAP’s Songwriter of the Year, not many people agreed with Duval’s statement on that comparison.
I disagree.. Jeezy movement made the news and his adlibs changed the game as crazy as that sound but Kanye use the man adlibs to create a song pic.twitter.com/nlQBa0uVwQ
