While Erica Dixon and Momma Dee have stayed silent on social media about Scrappy’s new little one, his ex-wife Bambi has not. Now, fans are chattin’ about the additional social media posts Scrappy and Bambi shared since his baby shower.

After footage of his baby shower went viral, Bambi announced her new children’s book. The book’s cover art and description say it was meant to help explain a new baby to their three kids together.

Additionally, in her Instagram Stories, she thanked folks for their pre-orders. “I truly pray this story will help some of you explain new family changes in a gentle way to your children,” she added.
It’s unclear how exactly the Bam feels about Scrap welcoming a child with another woman less than two years after their finalized divorce. She hasn’t shared any messages naming or congratulating her ex-husband. In August, things seemed to be progressing with their cordial co-parenting after Scrappy thanked Bambi for giving him a “present parent” gift.
However, this weekend, some fans questioned whether her additional Instagram posts are sprinkles of shade! On Sunday (Nov. 4), Bam shared a photo of herself in a baby blue and brown trench coat, a black mini dress, and black thigh-high boots. She held her dark shades on her face with one hand and her Chanel bag in the other. The caption is a series of emojis, including a chess piece and a crown. One fan, @deanadane, wrote in the comment section, “I love this! While others wear blue for a b. shower, Bam wears blue for business baby!!”
Also, on her Instagram Stories on Monday, she re-shared a post that said, “Sometimes, the person who sounds crazy is the one trying to explain the truth.”
Scrappy Says All Of His Kids Need A DNA Test, Bambi Seemingly Responds
Days after his baby shower, Lil Scrappy took to Instagram Live to speak on taking care of his kids, and co-parenting with Shakira. But it was a lil’ jokey joke that set comment sections across IG on fire. During the live session, he confirmed he was planning to DNA test his unborn son with Shakira.
“Of course, I’m gon’ get a DNA, I need to get it on all of ’em. The f**k. Y’all think people so perfect man…y’all look at men and think men are horrible and the women are perfect. Anybody that think that y’all are f**king dum dums,” he said in the stream.
He continued on, saying that he doesn’t want to be with any other woman who doesn’t take accountability. “I hate women that try to play the victim, knowing they’re the worst women in the world,” Scrap said. But later, in The Shade Room’s comment section, he seemingly clarified his DNA tests comment. “I was joking dayum,” he wrote, adding laughing emojis.
But it looks like the Bam wasn’t too impressed with her ex-husband’s jokey joke. Rather than address him directly, though, she took to her IG feed with some family content. She posted a compilation video featuring their kids, and in the caption, Bambi wrote, “One thing for certain #TheyMine #Bambinos.” Watch the video HERE.
Rapper Talks About Co-Parenting With Shakira
Additionally, Lil Scrappy said that folks should know he takes care of all of his kids. He also said that he takes care of his children’s mothers, which at this time are Erica, Bambi, and now Shakira.
“…if I ain’t take care of my kids, them folks will lock me the f**k up,” he said. “They would be happy to lock me up and number two would love it too. Number two would help them,” Scrap added.
As for co-parenting with Shakira, he said that she’s going to be a great mom and that she’s “already cool.” He said she’s already proven she’s cool by not being the person who announced her pregnancy online. For context, a couple of months ago, another woman alleged that she and Shakira had a group sexual encounter with Scrappy, and that’s how Shakira ended up pregnant. He later spoke on the situation, but his new baby wasn’t confirmed until the baby shower, which he posted footage of first. “Ain’t got nothing to do with being famous or none of that sh*t,” Scrappy said. Meanwhile, the Atlanta rapper has yet to comment on Bambi’s new book.
Scrappy Says He’s “Happy” Following Baby Shower
Over the weekend, Scrappy also shared a video about feeling happy. He first posted it to his Instagram Stories on Friday (Nov. 1), but he reshared it on his feed the next day. The video seemed to have been taken after his baby shower and before Bambi announced her children’s book.
“It’s up, it’s always up. I’m just happy to be happy, ya dig. First part…was not looking too good, but I am happy. You feel me? Happy people don’t gotta say they happy but I just wanted to thank God and show him that I appreciate being happy. That’s it.”
“Thank God for being happy, man, ’cause it could be different. It could be a lot worse,” he added in the video. “Thank God for happiness man cause we done been through it.”
His caption doubled down on his happiness: “I’m so grateful and happy. Thank you for everything you do, God, and thank you for picking me up when I feel I’m finished.” However, some in his comment section seem divided on whether Lil Scrappy’s message is authentic.
