Shakira is seemingly calling out her co-parent, Lil Scrappy, for allegedly excluding her and their son. As previously reported, she and the rapper welcomed Kyrie Richardson in November 2024. They’ve both previously shared positive words about co-parenting with each other. Now, Shakira is seemingly switching up on Scrappy and his leading lady, Britney Sims, is at the center of the drama.

Shakira Claims Lil Scrappy Kept Son Away From Party
Aside from Kyrie, Lil Scrappy is also the father to three children from his marriage to Bambi and a daughter from his previous relationship with Erica Dixon. This week, his and Bam’s daughter Xylo turned five years old. It appears that Scrappy might’ve hosted or is planning to host a birthday party for his mini-me, and Shakira is blaming Britney Sims for the alleged exclusion. Without dropping names, she popped off on Instagram Stories on Monday (August 4).
“One kid was excluded from [their] siblings birthday party so that [their] dads “girlfriend” can be present. She not even in her own kids life’s. #InternetParents,” Shakira wrote in one post, adding the song ‘Deadbeats’ to it.
In another IGS post, Shakira seemingly suggested that Lil Scrappy has a “massage girl who secretly comes over in the middle of the night for happy endings…but also has a girlfriend.” Then she asked, “Is that some Diddy sh? ” A third post between her statements shows the lyrics to the song “Best Thing” by Inayah. The part Shakira selected said, “Too easy for you to go astray. N***a my son don’t like you anyway.”

Lil Scrappy has yet to respond to Kyrie’s mother and her accusations. Instead, he shared a post dedicated to Xylo on Monday, saying the celebration will last all week.

Scrappy shook his fans–and maybe even Shakira–when he debuted his new bae in April. It had been days since he and Kyrie’s mama appeared lit in videos of partying together. In one of the clips, Shakira bragged about being his “favorite one” of his children’s mothers.
When Scrap showed Britney on camera, he had been hinting at having a girlfriend for a few months. Fans even dug up content showing they’d been kicking it as early as February. Then, the reveal footage showed the new couple enjoying an arcade date night.
Around the same time, Lil Scrappy denied that Shakira was “punching the air” over his relationship. He claimed she was “super coo” and that they were “doing so good” with Kyrie. It’s unclear if the birthday party invite is what turned that situation around. Shakira hasn’t shared any additional details.
Like her man, Britney Sims, who works as a realtor, hasn’t clapped back at Shakira over the birthday invite allegations. The couple recently took a trip to Puerto Rico. Scrap and Sims are seen smiling in a photo dump she shared on August 1.
