Lord, It has definitely been a rough 3 months for Lil Wayne!! He’s been sued over failed private jet payments and pyrotechnics that also were unpaid for, and unfortunately, Weezy is being sued yet again by model, Shanise Taylor!
Taylor is suing the rapper for using images from a brief photoshoot back in 2011 after she assumed that her images would no longer be used after her photographer gave her the initial photos. However, when she saw her unauthorized images being used for Weezy’s Trunkfit streetwear line she decided to take immediate action!
Shanise alleges that she never gave the rapper nor his team permission to use her images for his clothing line. She also claims that she’d never want photos of her associated with a brand that perpetuates “misogyny and violence.” For example, in documents obtained by TMZ, Taylor says that Weezy’s team photoshopped her panties off, in an attempt to make her more appealing to the masses….yikes!
Understandably, Taylor is humiliated and wants nothing to do with the brand. In order to get some sort of relief from the situation, the model has hired Mase Lara law firm out of Miami where she is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. Also, she wants Weezy and his people to 86 the t-shirts…asap no rocky!
No one has been able to get ahold of the rapper for a statement yet, but lets just hope this ends will before Young Money becomes No Money after all these lawsuits are said and done!
