Lil Wayne started the year off on a positive note when he mended his relationship with longtime friend/ business partner Birdman. Now it’s reported that the “A Milli” rapper owes Uncle Sam a total of $12.8 Million.
According to The Jasmine Brand, Lil Wayne was hit with a brand new tax lien for about $900k in backed taxes earlier this month. According to The Department of Treasury Wayne failed to pay a total of $868,079.89 in taxes for the year 2014.
Prior to that he was hit with a tax lien for failing to pay $5,843,952 for 2011 and $6,311,132 for 2012. Nonetheless, the Young Money head honcho is reported to be worth a total of $150 Million. Therefore, it wouldn’t be a huge setback, but hopefully he gets all of his financial woes handled soon.
