As she promised, Beyoncé dropped her new album and the second act of her ‘Renaissance’ era on Friday (March 29). ‘Cowboy Carter’ is now streaming, and the fans are eating up the singer’s eighth studio album!
She’s been trending across social platforms all morning for her 27-song project. One viral standout about the album — besides Beyoncé’s angelic vocals — is the stacked list of artists featured.

As mentioned, the 42-year-old talent tapped several artists, including country music goats for her inspired album. Credits on ‘Cowboy Carter’ include country legends 90-year-old Willie Nelson, 82-year-old Linda Martell, and 78-year-old Dolly Parton.
Nelson is credited for ‘Smoke Hour Willie Nelson,’ ‘Smoke Hour II’ and ‘Just For Fun.’ Linda is featured on ‘Spaghetti II’ and ‘The Linda Martell Show.’
Meanwhile, Bey took her shot at recreating Dolly’s iconic ‘Jolene’ and seemingly named another track ‘Dolly P’ after the star.
Beyoncé’s rendition of ‘Jolene’ comes a few years after Dolly said in Dec. 2020 that she wished “someone like Beyoncé” would re-record the song.
Cowgirl Bey also leaned on rising, young Black country stars to add their sauce to her new album. Those artists include Brittney Spencer, Shaboozey, Tanner Adell, Reyna Roberts, Tiera Kennedy, and Willie Jones.

But the list of featured artists on ‘Cowboy Carter’ doesn’t end there. In fact, Beyoncé also pulled in pop sensation Miley Cyrus, and rapper Post Malone for the tracks, ‘Most Wanted’ and ‘Levii’s Jeans’ respectively.
‘Cowboy Carter’ comes under two years since the release of ‘Act I: Renaissance,’ which debuted as No. 1 on Billboard 200 and earned an ‘Album of the Year’ nomination at last year’s GRAMMY Awards.
Amid the album’s success and a sold-out tour, Bey followed up by dropping a film highlighting her new music and performances.
