During the early hours of Wednesday, November 6, VP Harris’ campaign took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a video update with its supporters. To note, by that time in the morning, Trump had secured at least 230 out of 270 electoral votes to win the presidential office.
In the clip, viewers watched as VP Harris’ campaign co-chair, Cedric Richmond, took to a podium at Howard University.
“…We still have votes to count, we still have states that have not been called yet [so] we will continue overnight to fight to make sure that every vote is counted [and] that every voice has spoken,” Richmond explained. “So you won’t hear from the Vice President tonight. But you will hear from her tomorrow; she will be back here tomorrow to address not only the HU family, not only to address her supporters but to address the nation…”
