‘Not Even 5 Minutes In’: Social Media Reacts To Chloe Bailey And Damson Idris’ Steamy ‘Swarm’ Scene

Donald Glover and Janine Nabers’ new show Swarm has social media users in a chokehold following its release on Friday (March 17). The mini-series centers on characters played by Dominique Fishback, Chloe Bailey, Damson Idris, Billie Eilish, and even Paris Jackson.

And while several scenes are already hot topics, one that’s standing out on social media is Chloe and Damson’s steamy bedroom get-down. Less than 10 minutes in, Fishback’s character, Dre, witnesses Damson’s character, Khalid, slamming into Chloe’s character, Marissa, from the back.

The sexual scene plays out for under a minute. Still, the optics—from Chloe’s arched back and bouncing peach to Damson’s sweaty nudity and sleek confidence–have social users going OFF!

By now, several clips of the scene have hit the ‘net, but one, shared by @kamrieeee, has over 17 million views, and thousands of bookmarks.

Damson had some folks who viewed the scene pretty jealous of his opportunity to work with Chloe and then clock out to return to just real life girlfriend, Lori Harvey.

Chloe Bailey Credits Damson Idris For Making Her Feel 'Really Comfortable' During Sex Scene

And while the scene might’ve looked convincing, Chloe recently revealed there was more humor than steam on set. Speaking to Deadline, the singer said she cried when she first read the script. Her initial thoughts were, “this is insane…incredible,” but then she realized what her character and Damson’s character had to do.

“Then I realized, you gotta do that sex scene, girl. And as open and liberal as I am with my body, I was very scared because I haven’t had that many partners. I’m not like that, THAT sexual and open,” Chloe said.

Even though she’s given fans sensual dance moves, confident stage presence, and her viral mic-licking-moment at 2021 VMAs, Chloe fully credits Damson for easing her through filming their on-screen bedroom behavior.

“So Damson made it really comfortable. There were limited people on set, it was a closed set. We were laughing in between. We literally had a bouncy ball in between us, and we were making a joke out of it, Bailey said. “So, it took all of the nervousness away from that. So, I have to give a lot of kudos to him as a man for making me, as a woman, feel comfortable literally being raw and naked.”
