Messy Boots? Claressa Shields Seemingly Reacts To Her Ex-Fiancé’s Shady Joke

It hadn’t even been 24 hours after Claressa Shields enjoyed a private screening of ‘The Fire Inside.’ The upcoming movie breaks down her upbringing and boxing career. But NOW, folks online are all up in her romantic business! That’s thanks to her “boyfriend” Papoose and his estranged wife Remy Ma popping off with cheating accusations, threats, and text leaks on Thursday. To make matters messier, Claressa’s ex-fiancé, Tony Richardson, has also added his two cents!

Late Thursday, Claressa seemed to continue fueling tensions with Remy Ma by teasing her location and an interesting message.

Claressa Shields’ Ex-Fiance Makes THIS Jokey Joke

Early Thursday morning — and a couple of hours into the Remy-Pap drags — Tony Richardson cracked a jokey joke on socials. A Facebook page under the name ‘Tony Rich’ wrote, “When I hit Remy Ma don’t y’all be on my [peanut and laughing emojis].” Within 10 hours, the post has been shared more than 500 times on that platform alone. Meanwhile, a verified Facebook account for Claressa replied to it within an hour of it being up! The reply said, “Aww” with a heart-face emoticon. And the post is STILL booming on the platform, with almost 1,000 comments and nearly 3,000 reactions.

 

Pause! When Was The Boxer Engaged & Who Is Tony?

Now, what plenty of folks are asking is: when was Claressa Shields engaged? The Shade Room did a lil’ digging and found a few posts straight from the source about the couple!

Sportskeeda reports that she and Tony first went public with their relationship in November 2020. He’s a certified fitness trainer who has owned a gym since 2019. The first time Shields referred to him as her fiancé appears to be in a post from March 19, 2022, in which she shared a video of a HUGE diamond rick on her finger. Her caption read, “My man LOVE ME!!!! GWOAT A FIANCÉ!!!! Omg.” 

That same year, in July, she shared an anniversary post, smiling with her fiancé in the attached photo.

It’s unclear when the seemingly happy couple split, though. There are at least two posts from 2024 in which Shields called Tony Richardson her fiancé. And those receipts also come with photos!

One X (formerly Twitter) post from January shows the ex-couple cheesing in two photos. One shows Tony with a handful of Claressa’s peach in a mini blue dress while she has her eyes closed. Her caption said, “Another year I bring it in with my fiancè. 2024 be good to us.” 

Another post on the same platform suggests the engaged couple was making BIG moves in mid-2024. She revealed on May 9 that she and Tony Richardson had sold their “first property together” and shared a picture of them cheesing post-sale.

Where’s Papoose In All This?

‘The Fire Inside’ will premiere on Christmas Day. It’s unclear if “boyfriend” Papoose will attend any events for the film.

Pap has not clarified their relationship but briefly mentioned that he had moved on from Remy Ma. He didn’t name Claressa in his clapback posts for his estranged wife. Still, only time will tell if he and Shields will make whatever they have going on red carpet official!

Amid all the drama, Claressa Shields shared a post on her X and IG accounts promoting her film. She called it “the only fight that matters.”

“The only fight that matters comes out Christmas Day on the big screen. My fight to make it out of Flint, MI., making history for USA, fighting my way for equal pay for women’s boxing, fighting my way to become the boxing mogul I am today,” the champ wrote.

Claressa Says She's In "These NY Streets"

Claressa Shields’ caption in her promo post might be a follow-up to her challenging Remy Ma to a boxing match. “Claressa Shields vs @RealRemyMa Feb 2nd! Come get yo a** whooped crash out!!!,” she wrote in a now-deleted tweet.

Remember that in one of Remy’s viral posts, the rapper claimed that Claressa isn’t knocking anyone out—just like Papoose allegedly didn’t? Those are Ma’s words (NOT OURS). Swipe below to see for yourself!

While it looks like Claressa Shields might be teasing Remy Ma’s words a lil’ bit. On her Instagram Stories, she teased her followers about being in New York. She shared a video of herself smiling, and wrote: “Outside in these NY streets (call me).”

Remy Ma's Alleged Bae Steps In

Claressa Shields wasn’t the only outsider in today’s heated allegations between the married couple. Eazy The Block Captain, was also a MAJOR part of the conversation. He’s allegedly the battle rapper who Remy supposedly cheated on Pap with. Mind you, his name has been tied to Ma and infidelity rumors since early 2023.

On Thursday, he challenged Papoose to unblock him on social media, and called cap on a narrative Pap shared about knocking him out for shaking his hand, then proceeding to later sleep with his wife. Remy Ma also denied that her husband knocked anyone out.

Thursday evening Eazy The Block Captain claimed in a video that Papoose has known about his thing-thing with Remy for at least two years.
