Happy Birthday! Da Brat Celebrates Turning 49 & Shares Photos Of Her Growing Baby Bump

On Friday, the rapper took to Instagram to share her “gratitude” and celebrate her 49th birthday with the world.

She posted a carousel of two photos, which showed her dressed in all white with a pair of gold gloves and a gold and black head scarf.

In the post’s caption, she celebrated “beating the odds.”

49 LOOK AT GOD! I am so GRATEFUL to GOD for allowing me to see another year. I can do ALL THINGS! I was born to be a trendsetter, beat odds, motivate and inspire others, break barriers and set records…”

The rapper went on to share that she has been “blessed” through her “mistakes,” and she is “marveling” at her life.

“I have been BLESSED through my mistakes and set backs to have learned how to just pause and appreciate my BEAURTIFUL journey and marvel at my life through the miraculous wonders of the LORD. I could write a book about it. Today I celebrate ME. My BEAURTIFUL @darealbbjudy made me post and handed me MY phone to write my caption. SHE MAKES SURE I GETS MY FLOWERS.”

Da Brat’s wife, Jesseca Harris-Dupart, also took to Instagram to celebrate the rapper’s birthday with a video collage.

She explained that their journey together has been “like a fairytale” that she still can’t believe sometimes. Additionally, Harris-Dupart explained that she is “the luckiest” girl in the world.

“I never thought I was going to have kids. I just thought it wasn’t in the cards for me. I’ve had a great career, a full life. I felt like, because I didn’t get pregnant earlier on, then it just wasn’t going to happen for me.”
