This week, Jacquees opened up about his history with Dreezy during a new interview. As clips of the chat started circulating, Deiondra Sanders appeared to react in tweets late Wednesday and early Thursday. In response, the internet is urging her to move on! And it seems that even her daddy, Deion Sanders, isn’t here for another Jacquees-centered rant!

Jacquees Talks About Still Having Feelings For Dreezy After Their Relationship Ended
As mentioned, Jacquees linked up with streamer Jordyn Lucas this week. In addition to helping her film an audition video for Kai Cenat’s ‘Streamer University 2’ and live singing moments, the two talked about his past. One particular topic was “the love triangles” between him and Dej Loaf or him and Dreezy. Lucas spoke of rooting for him and Dreezy during their five-plus-year relationship. Then explained that many people felt that way because he and Dreezy “kinda grew up together.” Lucas emphasized that those types of relationships are important in growth.
“…A lot comes with those type of relationships because you have to grow within the relationship and growing pains is hard,” Jacquees said. “I got a lot of respect for Dreezy outside of anything. The way that we ended was a little sloppy cause it went online…and my heart wasn’t all the way out of it…even though in my mind I really thought I was ready for something else. You not really ready for something else until you’re completely done with something.”
Jacquees added that, at the time, he was young, moving fast and knew he wanted a son and a family. He knew he wanted to be a dad to a son even while dating Dreezy, so when he got with Deiondra and that dream “happened fast,” he leaned into it. Back in 2024, during an online spat with Jac and Deiondra Sanders, Dreezy revealed text messages that showed him discussing a child. She also exposed Deiondra’s pregnancy, which wasn’t confirmed by the couple until later on. Then, last year, she also claimed that Jac had once introduced Deiondra as a friend while secretly cheating.

In the livestream, Jacquees also admitted he should’ve never gotten involved in online beefs and that he should’ve closed the Dreezy chapter entirely before moving on. That way, Dreezy wouldn’t get embarrassed, and so Deiondra Sanders didn’t feel the need to put herself out there. Jac admitted that he thought he was “doing the right thing,” but that he was going about everything the wrong way. He said that if he and Dreezy are ever friends, he wouldn’t like people thinking she’s “dumb” because of it. To this day, he still has love for her, the rapper told Jordyn Lucas.
“I got love for her always. She just a real one. Hard to come across type,” Jacquees said, explaining that he understands the hurt behind him quickly moving on with Deiondra Sanders after their breakup. “One thing I don’t regret is my son cause he’s everything. He my whole world, but I just want everyone to be in the world and be respected. I want Deiondra to be able to go places and people give her the respect she deserves, start businesses, provide for our son, be a great mother cause she is. I want Dreezy to be able to go in her career, do what she do.”
Later on, Jacquees refused to share which of his exes he’d spin the block on. He also shared that he wants to be free of anything negative and wants peace.
“Now, how do you spin the block again? I don’t know because I’m at peace with where I’m at in life. I’m the type of n***a where I really like to just vibe, I don’t like to set plans on love.”
