From the church to his love life and now abuse allegations — Prophet Israel Ford‘s business is on the front pages this week. He’s in the spotlight after he and his wife, Pastor Lydia Ford, revealed that he now has a second wife, who was formerly his “spiritual daughter.” Soon after going viral for the chosen reveal, court documents surfaced referencing the Fords’ alleged physical abuse of Lydia’s daughter K.C., his stepdaughter. Also, Israel’s other stepdaughter (also Lydia’s daughter), Kourtney Jones, has taken to social media with sexual abuse allegations. She’s even commented on her sister’s experiences and the couple’s second wife. Speaking to The Shade Room’s China Lovelace, Israel and Lydia Ford deny that Kourtney was ever abused by Israel.

Prophet Israel & Lydia Ford Deny Abuse Allegations
In speaking to China Lovelace, Israel and Lydia Ford are shutting down the experiences Kourtney Jones detailed. They are speaking out after Jones’ Facebook statement about being groomed and violated from a young age. Their exclusive statement to The Shade Room reads:
“We are aware of Kourtney Jones’ public allegations and recognize the serious damage they can have. From our perspective, these are the same allegations she’s made for many years that have been alluded to in her online posts over several years. It’s not true.”
Details From Kourtney Jones’ Sex Abuse Reveal
As mentioned, Kourtney Jones exposed what she called “secrets” she’d been holding for six years. “This is just the beginning of the truth about Israel Ford,” Jones began her post. Also writing that, she chose not to tell in part to “protect” her mother, Lydia Ford. She says her mom is “not innocent,” but that she watched Prophet Israel Ford “slowly drain the life from her.” Lydia was once a “smart, caring, independent, strong-willed” and self-reliant woman, Kourtney wrote. She was “raised to question anything and anyone that went against the Word of God.”
Kourtney Jones claims that her mother, Lydia, started dating Israel Ford while they were both married. Nine months of dating later, they married in June of 2013, Kourtney said. She and her sister, K.C., were 11 years old at the time. At age 12, Kourtney Jones says her stepdad took sexual interest in her, commenting on her body and future beauty as an adult. She said he walked the line between “admiration and inappropriate.”
“He would lie in my bed with me when I took naps. He would kiss me and force me to tell him I loved him,” she wrote.
Things escalated when she turned 13, Kourtney says. She said Israel started sneaking into her room at night to lie with her in only his underwear. He would also allegedly ask her about sex and her desires from a man.
“He would wake me up and force me to touch him. I would freeze up, and dissociate. I lived in my mind because I couldn’t make sense of what I was dealing with. I would say horrible things to him, in hopes to make him feel bad. He ended up telling me he wanted me to say horrible things, so he could feel bad and stop…He knew it was wrong and admitted it multiple times.”
At 15, Kourtney Jones says Israel Ford attempted to rape her while her mother and sister stayed overnight at her grandmother’s. She says she fought him hard and got away that night. However, she claims he enjoyed the berating she gave him during the struggle. After that, his attempts became more aggressive. She says he would touch her when no one was around and even in church. Jones also alleges that Ford would “pervert” conversations with talks of his and her mother’s sex life and questions about boys and their bodies. Ford allegedly abused her until she turned 17 and left, never returning to the home. Jones says she hasn’t spoken to her mother in six years and that her mother for years believed “lies” Ford fed her.
“…But they have lit up the platform that will host their own demise. I know there are more women out there. And I urge everyone, if you feel it is right, to share so we can prevent them from targeting their next victim,” Jones wrote, urging her mother to “stop protecting him or [she] will fall with him.”
K.C. Testified Against Lydia Ford & Israel Ford After 2018 Beating
Kourtney Jones also spoke of her sister’s experiences with her mother, Lydia and Israel Ford. She affirmed the court documents circulating detailing an attack against K.C. On January 15, 2018, Prophet Israel Ford allegedly beat K.C., then 17 years old, causing bruises on her shoulder, arm, legs and thigh. Again, for clarity, K.C. is NOT Kourtney Jones.
