Don’t Play With Her! Fani Willis Goes Viral After Giving Defense Lawyers The Business During Testimony In Trump Election Interference Case (WATCH)

Georgia’s Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is going viral for her recent appearance from a witness stand. As The Shade Room previously reported, in August 2023, Willis brought RICO charges against former president Donald Trump and others for alleged interference in Georgia’s 2020 election.

Why Is Fani Willis Taking The Witness Stand?

According to ABC Chicago, a judge recently ordered Willis and Nathan Wade, a detective she hired in 2021 to help prosecute the case, to participate in a hearing. The request was made after allegations surfaced that Willis and Wade engaged in an unethical romantic relationship amid the proceedings.

The outlet adds that Trump and his co-defendants would like the judge to remove Willis from prosecuting the case. Or drop the group’s charges.

Willis appeared on the witness stand on Thursday, February 15. The hearing saw Willis behave more as a prosecutor rather than a “traditional witness,” per the outlet.

Defense attorneys attempted to probe into receiving flight records of trips Willis and Wade took. However, Willis fiercly fired back.

“No, I object to you getting flight records. You’ve been intrusive into people’s personal lives. You’re confused. You think I’m on trial — these people are on trial for trying to steal an election in 2020. I’m not on trial, no matter how hard you try to put me on trial,” she asserted.

Nathan Wade Takes The Stand As More Information About The Alleged Romance Surfaces

Later that day, Wade also took the witness stand. According to ABC Chicago, a sworn affidavit previously submitted to the court alleges that Wade and Willis’ relationship began in early 2022.

Additionally, they allegedly split expenses for vacation and travel from their own personal funds.

However, according to the outlet, a former friend of the District Attorney and Fulton County employee has attempted to refute those allegations. Robin Bryant-Yeartie alleges their romance began in late 2019 — before Willis hired Wade to participate in the Trump probe.

Additionally, Bryant-Yeartie alleges she observed “close affection” between the pair amid Willis confirming their dating status between 2020 and 2021.

Furthermore, Wade has even been accused of cheating on his wife with Willis.

However, despite the allegations, Wade maintained that his marriage was “irretrievably broken” by 2015, per ABC Chicago. Additionally, he explained that it was only coincidentally that he filed for divorce from his wife after being hired by Willis for the Trump probe.

While taking the stand, Wade also opened up about how they paid for their joint vacations.

According to the outlet, Willis and Wade maintained that their romance ended in the summer of 2023 — before Trump was indicted. Therefore, their relationship should not be a conflict of interest in connection to the RICO case.
