So, What Did Jacquees Say To Get Everyone Trippin’?
Jacquees recently got candid with Mz. Shyneka at Streetz 94.5 about sitting out Usher and Chris Brown’s ‘R&B’ Tour, admitting that he definitely would’ve been interested in joining the historic run. “Do I feel like I’m overlooked at times? Of course,” he said. “Did I wanna be on the R&B tour? Of course, that would’ve been dope.” But Jacquees also made it clear he wasn’t looking to simply blend into the lineup, explaining, “I don’t think I would’ve been singing background like Mario, you know what I’m saying? And Tank and all that stuff,” before adding, “I would’ve wanted to hold my own.”
Eric Bellinger Breaks Down Why He Joined The Tour
Eric Bellinger shared his perspective directly with The Shade Room’s China Lovelace, Sr. Social Media Producer, explaining that joining the tour was about connecting with fans, supporting his fellow R&B artists, and introducing his music to massive audiences.
“For me, it was really about getting out and touching the people. I have the opportunity to support my brothers, while introducing myself to 70,000 plus new fans every night and at the same time promote my upcoming self-titled album, ‘Eric Bellinger’ out August 21st. It’s been a win-win situation: Doing what I Love, connecting with people in real life, and gaining new fans along the way. To each its own.”
