Jamie Foxx Speaks Out As Concern For His Health Grows Online: ‘Feel Blessed’

As concern for Jamie Foxx‘s health grows online, the actor has seemingly released his first message since his “medical complication” in April.

We previously reported that today marks three weeks since Jamie Foxx‘s daughter, Corinne, revealed the actor was hospitalized. Though the statement is still available on her Instagram, it remains unclear what kind of complication Jamie suffered on April 11. However, Jamie seemingly released a message on his Instagram account on Wednesday.

“Appreciate all the love!! Feeling blessed,” Foxx wrote alongside with the praying hands, red heart and fox emojis.

A week after Corinne’s post, a source told PEOPLE that Jamie was “OK” but “still in the hospital.” Doctors were reportedly “running tests” on an “awake and alert” Jamie then. Still, Corinne hasn’t provided any additional statements to support the report.

Meanwhile, social media and bloggers have run rampant with theories, including rumors of a stroke. On Wednesday, the phrase ‘Pray for Jamie Foxx’ began trending on Twitter as TMZ reported that the actor is still hospitalized.

Citing “sources with direct knowledge,” the outlet added that Jamie and Corinne would not be on the new season of Beat Shazam. The actor’s eldest daughter has reportedly been “a fixture at the hospital,” per TMZ.

Amid his “feeling blessed” message, Jamie’s account also reposted an announcement from Beat Shazam. Nick Cannon will be filling in as host for this season, while Kelly Osbourne will fill in as DJ–Corinne’s role.

“Appreciate ya my boy @nickcannon. See u all soon,” Foxx wrote on his Instagram Story.
