Jhonni Blaze has recently hoped to inspire middle school-aged girls with a lil’ chat and donations. However, those plans quickly went left when the principal of Cedar Grove Middle School allegedly blocked her entry on campus. Apparently, the artist was turned away due to her “body shape.” Jhonni was ultimately allowed to hand out the care packages.
However, social media started cuttin’ up with mixed reactions after she shared what happened. In an exclusive video provided to The Shade Room’s Lawrencia Grose on Saturday (April 5), Blaze spoke about changing her life while facing trolls.

Jhonni Blaze Explains How The School Gave Her A Second Chance
As mentioned, Blaze spoke out about her community deed on Friday (April 4) via Instagram. She appeared to be standing outside Walmart with a cart of purchased goodies. In the video’s caption, she explained that she received a random invitation to visit the school via her DMs. Blaze said she had accepted, only for the principal to block the entry based on her “body shape” and not her image. Those familiar with the reality TV babe might already know that sis is STACKED, respectfully. And yes, we’re talking curves on curves from chest to thighs, again, respectfully! She wore a jean jumper with a short-sleeved tee, sneakers, and a baseball cap in her video.
“I understand my back ground when the district googled me can be a lot, and told the school not to have me, but I am not ashamed of who I use to be,” Blaze wrote in the caption. “I’m not ashamed of what I went through. My background is one of the reasons I push to speak to these girls so they can go down the right path. I guess when I posted the messages of being discriminated things changed and I got a call to show up to the school.”
Also, in the video, Blaze confirmed that Cedar Grove officials called her and invited her to discuss the denied entry. Additionally, they granted her permission to distribute her care packages. She advised that sometimes a calm reaction, like she allegedly gave the school, can lead to opportunities, too. Her video also showed a conversation between Blaze and school officials.
“Cedar Grove Middle School really placed me in an emotional state in a good way…It’s not about pride. It’s not about no one else but the kids. How I responded with concern and simply a peaceful response is why God still made it happen. You should have seen their faces when they seen me. The ending of this video says so much “THEY NEED YOU JHONNI.” I hope to build my legacy and what I can do for these beautiful girls in this world to a even bigger platform.”
Cedar Grove Middle School, which is located in Decatur, Georgia, has not released a statement about Jhonni Blaze’s claims.
