Whew, Roomies! New York City might need a collective doctor’s appointment after what went down Saturday night. Between the screaming, crying, praying, pacing, and emotional support chopped cheeses being consumed across the five boroughs, Knicks fans were put through a level of stress usually reserved for MTA delays and rent increases. The stars were out at Madison Square Garden too, with Fat Joe, Stephen A. Smith, and a whole lot of famous faces witnessing history in real time as the Knicks pulled off the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history. And judging by some of these celebrity reactions, you’d think they personally checked into the game and logged 40 minutes.

Fat Joe Said, “You’re Welcome” To The Knicks
Fat Joe has been celebrating the Knicks championship like his contract cleared. From “We Are The Champions” captions to “never give up” motivational posts, to even pulling up on the Knicks coach’s chain and posing like he was part of the staff, Fat Joe has been fully outside claiming every ounce of this win. At this point, he knows deep down he contributed to this—because just a few days ago, he was absolutely not about to let anybody leave that arena without giving him some credit.
According to Joe, his dancing — and possibly the blinding reflection coming off his jewelry — distracted Victor Wembanyama enough to miss two critical free throws late in the game. Now, are we saying that’s what happened? No. Are we saying Fat Joe believes that’s what happened? Absolutely! The funniest part might have been watching Stephen A. Smith try to process the explanation in real time. Roomies, it takes a lot to leave Stephen A. speechless, but Fat Joe almost accomplished the impossible.

Stephen A. Smith’s Suffering Has Been Canceled
For decades, Knicks fans have watched Stephen A. Smith suffer publicly. Every season brought another rant, another meltdown, and another declaration that the franchise was testing his patience and shortening his lifespan. But Saturday night? He was emotional. Standing on the court as the Knicks celebrated their first championship in 53 years, Stephen A. admitted he never truly believed he’d see the day. He reflected on all the misery, frustration, and heartbreak Knicks fans endured over the years before finally getting to witness the ultimate payoff. And honestly, Roomies? Seeing Stephen A. talk without yelling for once might’ve been one of the most shocking moments of the night. Almost!
