Earlier this year, Rashida Nicole was proudly sticking by her man, LiAngelo Ball. Now, after having his youngest child, Lilo Legacy Ball, Rashida’s tune has drastically changed. She went from shading MissNikkiiBaby, the mother of his first two children, to issuing a public apology to the reality TV star and thanking her. Nicole also revealed that her estranged husband had allegedly ghosted her during her pregnancy. Most recently, she claimed that six days after Lilo’s birth, her father still hadn’t met her! Meanwhile, Gelo turned heads this past weekend when footage surfaced of him on daddy duties. He attended the first birthday party of his and Nikki’s daughter, LaNiyah Nicole Ball.

Rashida Nicole Alleges LiAngelo Ball Hasn’t Met His Newborn
On Monday (Dec. 8), Rashida took to her Instagram Stories with a close look at her newborn daughter. Lilo was drinking her milk, eyes closed and cozy in her fall-themed onesie. While the two-time mom didn’t speak in the short clip, she wrote a message that fans and critics quickly picked up and spread on social platforms. He has not reacted to her latest callout.
“Poor baby been on this Earth for 6 days still ain’t seen or heard from her dad. Wow,” Rashida wrote, adding two emojis, including one laughing.
She first revealed Lilo’s arrival on Dec. 2 on her Instagram feed. In her caption, then, she wrote, “Beyond blessed.” However, in the slides, she broke down how her pregnancy unfolded, noting LiAngelo Ball’s alleged absence and speaking to MissNikkiiBaby.
Rashida Apologizes To Nikki Amid Marriage Troubles With LiAngelo
In slide two of her baby reveal, Rashida wrote a lengthy “transparency post” that’s still up on her IG feed. She confirmed that she’s going through a divorce with LiAngelo Ball, but won’t be sharing any details. At the time, she also wrote that she didn’t allow LiAngelo to be at the delivery of their child. She refused to allow “a 5-minute delivery room photo-op for the internet.”
“That decision came after months of emotional pain, hurtful words, and complete absence during the most vulnerable season of my life. For the last 5 months, I’ve done everything alone — every appointment, every milestone, every challenge. Moments that should’ve been shared were lost because he chose not to show up.”
Rashida Nicole said that at 8.5 months pregnant, LiAngelo allegedly told her he had a girlfriend with a name similar to their daughter’s, so Rashida said, he asked her to change their daughter’s name. Since then, Rashida said she’s taken accountability privately, but also wrote Nikki’s IG tag apologized for the pain she caused. She revealed that they’ve been able to speak, get clarity and create a “positive future for our kids.” MissNikkiiBaby later thanked her in the post’s comment section, saying she appreciated it. “Praying for positivity & to move forward for our kids.”

Rashida Nicole spoke out about LiAngelo Ball meeting Lilo hours after footage surfaced of LiAngelo Ball in attendance at LaNiyah’s first birthday party. One video showed Gelo holding their son LaVelo, and Nikki holding their birthday girl as the crowd sang ‘Happy Birthday.’ There are no details about where the co-parents are with each other, as the video shows them standing apart and only lasts a few seconds.
Also, the dad hasn’t shared any comments about being at his daughter’s first birthday party. One day after Rashida’s transparency post, Gelo posted memories with LaNiyah on his IG profile, and included the caption, “Love you more than anything.”
Rashida and LiAngelo aside, MissNikkiiBaby shook the internet when she shared a close look at her party mom outfit. She wore a two-piece set, transparent blue and grey look. Long sleeves on a cropped top, and transparent pants with a sheer thong! After The Shade Room posted a birthday round up she slid into the IG comment section and wrote, “I always dress sexy kids or no kids lol so next subject.”
