‘Love Is Blind’ star Marshall Glaze is locked in and ready to walk down the aisle again! The season four fave recently revealed he proposed to Chay Barnes two days before Christmas.
Marshall shared this love life update with his 593,000-plus followers on Instagram on Tuesday (Jan. 23.) He shared a carousel post of engagement photos with his smiling fiancée. Chay was stunning in a strapless, white gown, while Marshall looked sharp in a deep-drown suit and fresh shape-up. He captioned the photos:
“The journey to ‘Happily Ever After’ started on 12.23.23.”

Marshall also shared a clip of the proposal scene he set up for Chay in December. Glaze led his now-fiancée down a red carpet with “MARRY ME” spelled in giant, white-lit letters. Rose petals and bouquets in clear, white vases lined the red walkway.
At the end of the aisle, Marshall got down on one knee after embracing. As Barnes tried to wipe away her tears, Marshall called in the second part of his surprise — their family and friends witnessing the moment in the cut.
“Such a special day. She had NO idea. GOTCHA,” he wrote in the caption.

Meet Marshall Glaze’s Fiancée Chay Barnes
Marshall Glaze confirmed he was dating Chay during an episode of Netflix’s ‘After the Altar,’ released in September 2023. However, the engaged couple shared content featuring each other on their Instagram as early as last May.
On May 17, 2023, Marshall shared a video of him and Chay playing basketball. In the caption, he alluded to sharing a hobby that makes him happy with “someone who makes it much more enjoyable.”
Meanwhile, Chay shared a clip asking Marshall questions based on her day job as a nurse practitioner. She introduced him as her “boyfriend” in the cute clip.
In June that year, Glaze’s future wife became Dr. Chay Barnes, DNP, ARNP, CNM. She’s been a provider in her field for the last four months, per a post she shared earlier this month.

'Love Is Blind' Cast React To Marshall & Chay's Engagement
Following his engagement posts, several of Marshall’s ‘Love Is Blind’ friends and cast members hopped in his comments with love!
Season four’s married couple, Brett Brown and Tiffany Brown, offered their congratulations!
Brett wrote, “Marshall!! Man, couldn’t be happier for the two of you! CONGRATS!!!!! And beautiful pics!”
Tiffany added, “Yasss! You two make such an amazing couple, and I’m so happy for you two! Congratulations again!”
Bliss, also from season four, also shared warm words for the couple. Zack Goytowski proposed to Bliss on ‘Love Is Blind’ after initially breaking off their connection in the pods. The married couple are now expecting their first child together!
“Aw!! So happy for you two! All the blessings,” Bliss wrote. Adding, “A beautiful couple inside and out!”
Season five star James Milton also commented, “Congratulations brother!”

Marshall Glaze Was Previously Engaged To 'Love Is Blind' Co-Star Jackie Bonds
As ‘Love Is Blind’ fans may remember, Marshall has BEEN ready to settle down and get married. He proposed to Jackie Bonds in season four. However, their engagement ended shortly after they returned to Seattle.
Jackie then rekindled her ‘Love Is Blind’ spark with another cast member, Josh Demas. In the last episode of ‘After the Altar,’ Jackie and Josh were actively moving into an apartment together.
Two weeks after the limited series aired, Jackie and Josh split, she revealed during a live-streamed get-read-with-me (GRWM) video.
“I tried to fix it, I tried to mend it. I did everything I could. And what’s crazy, looking back on these messages, I look like a begging a** b***h, and what’s crazy, I ain’t never beg nobody to be with me. I ain’t never been on no weird shi*, to where I’m like, ‘oh my god be with me, oh my god be with me.’ And like looking back on the messages, I’m like sick, like throwing up to where it’s like how am I begging? Like that’s crazy, but it is what it is.”
Her current relationship status or connection to Josh Demas is unknown. However, by the end of the September special, she and Marshall Glaze appeared to be in a space of peace with well-wishes for each other. They held a mutually apologetic conversation during the special.
Amid Marshall’s engagement news, Jackie took to her Instagram Story to announce she’ll be on “another celebrity reality show… coming soon.” She did not comment on her ex’s love life news, though!
