This week, Mr. Prada has gone from being known for his TikTok skits to a murder suspect. Dallas police arrested the 20-year-old social media personality on Tuesday (Oct. 1). Mr. Prada, real name Terryon Ishmael Thomas, was initially charged with destroying a dead therapist’s property and running from the cops. Now, he’s been charged with the murder of the property owner, Dr. William Nicholas Abraham.

Murder Charges Upgraded After Arrest
According to USA TODAY, Dallas police detained Terryon after Baton Rouge police revealed that the TikToker crashed Abraham’s car in Louisiana. He was initially facing charges of aggravated criminal property damage, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Surveillance security footage from a store later helped cops identify Mr. Prada as the driver of the therapist’s car. He had been at the shop purchasing items. Police reportedly attempted to pursue the influencer but claimed the 20-year-old kept driving, crashed the car in a parking lot and ran away. Police later captured Terryon, and a cop identified him in a line-up, per USA TODAY.
Prosecutors initially charged Terryon Thomas with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice, according to KADN News 15. However, within days of the arrest, his murder charge was upgraded to first-degree. Prosecutors cited Louisiana law that allows for a more serious charge if the suspect intended to kill or inflict great bodily harm on someone under 12 or over 65 years of age. The alleged victim, Abraham, was 69. If he’s convicted of first-degree murder, Mr. Prada faces the death penalty should the prosecutors take that route, per KADN.
USA TODAY reports that, as of Oct. 3, Terryon Ishmael Thomas remained in jail without bond. However, at least one of his usual skits has been shared on TikTok since then. The video is dated Oct. 13. It’s unclear if Prada has been released from jail or whether someone else is managing his popular page.
Terryon Charged After THIS Evidence Surfaces
William Nicholas Abraham reportedly suffered a “very physical, very violent death,” per Tangipahoa Sheriff Gerald Sticker. Authorities discovered the 69-year-old’s body on Sunday (Sept. 29), wrapped in a tarp in Baton Rouge partially hidden alongside a highway. In addition to the tarp, Abraham’s body was wrapped in a grey blanket while a dark-colored towel covered his head, per the arrest affidavit.
New evidence uncovered by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office suggests foul play, specifically by Terryon Ishmael Thomas. Evidence reportedly includes video surveillance that shows the therapist arriving at Mr. Prada’s apartment complex at about 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28. According to WAFB, Abraham was wearing the same outfit in the footage that he had on when cops found his body. Witnesses also allegedly saw Mr. Prada struggling to drag a blue tarp downstairs and loading the same tarp in the therapist’s car.
Additionally, investigators searched Mr. Prada’s apartment and found blood, along with sharp objects and weapons, per the arrest affidavit. On Oct. 2, a DNA analysis of the blood reportedly confirmed it belonged to the therapist.
